Carl Owens's Portfolio

Weblamp is a website I developed completely myself to help me gain more freelance work and so build up my web portfolio. The website is built using PHP, XHTML, CSS, MySQL. Each page is loaded by PHP in an object orientated fashion, whereby each part of the page is loaded from list of functions. For example the footer would be loaded via a function which all pages call. This makes it easier to make changes to the entire website without editing each individual page.

I helped construct betdirect.com and 32redbet.com purely in XHTML and CSS. I coded betdirectcasino.com completely using PHP, XHTML, CSS and Javascript. I helped code betdirectpoker also using these technologies. I was contracted by 32Red Plc to build and maintain these pages. All these pages were coded using object orientated techniques.
